Yuya Vislander

Jujja Wieslander is a children’s writer; in the 1980s, together with her husband Tomas, she created the famous series about a curious cow — Mamma Moo.

Before putting the children to bed, the spouses took two sheets of A4 paper, folded them into a small book, and then the whole family invented stories. Thanks to the inexhaustible imagination of children, the unusual cow kept discovering new things. She wanted to try literally everything in the world: she read books and rode a snow scooter.

Mamma Moo and Crow appeared as characters in a radio play and children’s songs, and only in 1991 was the first book published.
