Ada Aynbinder

Ada Aynbinder
Musicologist, Candidate of Art History. Born in 1983 in Klin (Moscow Oblast). In 2002, she graduated from the Academic Music College at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory; in 2007, she graduated from the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music with a degree in musicology. In 2010, she defended her dissertation, “Tchaikovsky’s Personal Library as a Source for the Study of His Creative Biography.” Since 2004, she has been a senior researcher, and since 2008, head of the Department of Manuscript and Printed Sources at the State Memorial Musical Museum-Reserve of P. I. Tchaikovsky (the city of Klin). Since 2016, she has been a senior researcher at the State Institute for Art Studies. She is the author of more than 80 publications devoted to the history of Russian music of the nineteenth century, issues of the creative process, and the biography of P. I. Tchaikovsky.
