Aleksandr Snegirev
Aleksandr Snegirev (real name Kondrashov Aleksey Vladimirovich) was born in 1980 in Moscow. He graduated from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, earning a master's degree in political science. He is currently pursuing postgraduate studies there.
He was awarded the Debut Prize for 2005 in the Short Prose category. He has traveled through Europe, Asia, Africa, and America not as a spoiled rich kid, but while working as a street cleaner, waiter, construction worker, etc.
He currently makes short films and is trying to work in feature filmmaking; in short, he is “at the very beginning of his creative path.”
