Aleksey Semikhatov
Aleksei Mikhailovich Semikhatov (born January 13, 1959) is a Doctor of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics (1994), Chief Research Fellow at the Department of Theoretical Physics of the P. N. Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, host of the program “Question of Science” on the Nauka TV channel, and a lecturer and author of popular science films. He was awarded the 2022 RAS Prize in the category “Best Popular Science Book on the Lives of Scientists and the Logic of the Development of Science” for the book Everything That Moves: Walks Through a Restless Universe. Winner of the 2023 National Book of the Year Award.
