Andrea Bottlinger
Andrea Bottlinger is a German author of popular science and fiction books, mainly in the genres of fantasy and science fiction. She studied book studies, comparative literature, and Egyptology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. She works as a freelance editor, translator, and author.
Bottlinger’s debut fantasy novel was published in 2013. Under the pseudonym Susanne Wilhelm, she writes the serial novels Dorian Hunter and Haus Zamis. From 2008 to 2014, together with Christian Montillon and Dennis Ehrhardt, she wrote the Macabros novel series under the shared pseudonym Dan Shocker. Beginning with episode 26, she was the scriptwriter for the radio drama about Dorian Hunter. Starting with volume 69, she has been the author of the Hunter novel series published by Zaubermond Verlag. She is the translator of the Star Trek novel series. In 2014, her first Perry Rhodan novel, Burning World, was published. In 2015, at the Frankfurt Book Fair, Bottlinger was recognized as a coauthor of the popular science book Geek Pray Love in the category “Best Supporting Work.”
