Anna Sokolova
Anna Dmitrievna Sokolova is a Candidate of Historical Sciences, a research fellow at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the author of more than 50 works on the sociology of religion and social anthropology.
Higher education: 2007 — Department of Philosophy of Religion and Religious Studies, Division of Religious Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Candidate degree: 2013 — Candidate of Historical Sciences, Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Dissertation: “Transformations of Funeral Rituals among Russians in the 20th and Early 21st Centuries (Based on Materials from Vladimir Oblast)” (Academic supervisor: T.A. Listova, Candidate of Historical Sciences).
