Arkady Dubnov
Dubnov Arkady Yuryevich is a Russian journalist and political scientist. He was born in Moscow in 1949. He graduated from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute in 1974. From 1974 to 1978, he was a senior engineer at the All-Union Research Institute for Automation of the Iron and Steel Industry (VNIIAChermet). From 1978 to 1990, he was a senior research fellow at VNIIAM (the All-Union Research Institute of Atomic Engineering).
He then turned to journalism, specializing in coverage of events in Central Asia.
