Artur Givargizov
Artur Alexandrovich Givargizov is a Russian children’s writer and poet, and a member of the Union of Writers of Russia.
He was born in 1965 in Kyiv. Since 1968 he has lived in Moscow. In 1989 he graduated from the Music School at the Moscow Conservatory, majoring in guitar.
His first story was published in 1997 in the magazine Satyricon. Since then, his poems and short prose have regularly appeared in a wide variety of children’s periodicals.
His first book, the poetry collection My Poor Sharik, was published in 2002. To date, about 20 books have been published, including one book of plays and eight poetry collections.
