Bonni Garmus

Bonnie Garmus is an American writer.

She worked as a copywriter and creative director with a wide range of clients in the United States and abroad, mainly in the fields of technology, medicine, and education.

In 2022, her debut novel, Lessons in Chemistry, was published. The Guardian described it as “a polished, funny, thought-provoking story... it’s hard to believe this is a debut.” The New York Times praised its “entertaining plots and witty dialogue.”

The writer recently moved from Seattle. She lives in London with her husband and dog. She has two daughters.
