The thoughts of re-translating “Heartstopper” began in the spring of 2022. With the beginning of a large-scale invasion, the idea of ​​​​the development of Ukrainian culture gained even greater popularity, which we are already encouraging, this was expected to happen.
Everything became a mess. Lydia guessed about one of her favorite comics, and I (Sofia) suggested adapting it for Ukrainians and Ukrainians. She gave her proposition an incredible amount of support, to help with the writing of the text and translation of ambiguous moments.
For the last hour we performed for our small audience, otherwise we understand that we have the power to do so activity, and later we started trying to make our work legal and accessible to everyone.
We wrote to Elis Osman, who promised to give us permission to publish at the border. Unfortunately, we were advised, having explained to them that it is possible to buy the right to translation from Ukrainian publications. Then a few of us became angry, but, nevertheless, everyone, always in an imperious stubbornness, decided to write to as many as we could see, which, obviously, could be useful for a spivpratsy, since they were working on similar topics. And the axis was written to us from “Vydavnitstva” and in us, at this time, new forces appeared to bring this new idea to an end.

After “Solitaire” she wrote “Radiomovchannya”, “Be born for this” and “Without Kohannya”. Vaughn wrote and illustrated the webcomic When the Heart Freezes, a series of graphic novels and a Netflix television series adaptation. These novels are dedicated to the everyday life of British children and were selected for the Inky Awards.
