The Quran is the unified sacred book for Muslims of all schools of thought. This edition presents a translation of the Holy Scripture based on the previously published 12-volume tafsir, 'The Light of the Holy Quran: Explanations and Commentaries.' This monumental interpretation of the Quran, known as the 'Nur' tafsir, was prepared by a group of authoritative Muslim theologians at the Islamic Research Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
