'Pirouette' is a graphic memoir by 22-year-old American comic book artist and former professional figure skater Tillie Walden. She had been involved in figure skating since early childhood, but an exhausting regime, bullying at school, difficulties in communicating with her parents, and the difficulties of sexual self-determination forced the 15-year-old teenager to dare to make a radical change.

In 2018, 'Pirouette' was awarded the Will Eisner Award, making Tillie the youngest recipient of this prestigious award.

'Pirouette' is, first and foremost, a teen comic. Don't be misled by the '18+' marking with which the book will be published: it is assigned only because the comic raises the topic of LGBT relationships.
