Donald Reyfild
British literary scholar, Professor of Russian Literature at Queen Mary, University of London; author of books about A. P. Chekhov and I. V. Stalin translated into Russian.
He is currently Professor of Russian Literature at Queen Mary, University of London, specializing in Russian literature of the late 19th to mid-20th century; Georgian literature, folklore, and lexicology; and the activities of Stalin and Stalinism. The British scholar’s best-known works are a biography of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov and a book about the inner circle of I. V. Stalin.
Also edited by Donald Rayfield was a two-volume Georgian-English dictionary.
