Dyubyuk Marianna

A graduate of the UQAM School of Design (Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, 2003), Marianne Dubuc began her career as an author and illustrator of children’s books in 2006. Her works, published in French and translated into more than thirty languages, have earned her numerous awards, including the Governor General’s Award in the Illustrations category in 2014 for The Lion and the Bird, and the TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award for her book The Bus. In 2018, she again received the Governor General’s Literary Award in the Children’s Literature — Illustrated Books category, as well as the TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award for Le chemin de la montagne.

In 2018, together with Mathieu Lavoie, a children’s writer and illustrator, she founded Album Éditions.
