Dzhulian Shizer

Julian Sheather (PhD) is an adviser on ethics and human rights to a number of leading British and international medical organizations, including the international non-governmental organization Médecins Sans Frontières. He works on issues of healthcare and human rights, humanitarian ethics, medical ethics during armed conflicts, public health ethics, and resource allocation in the UK National Health Service (NHS).

In addition, Sheather is a member of the team of authors of the British Medical Association’s handbook on medical ethics and medical law, Medical Ethics Today. He is a regular contributor to The British Medical Journal and The Journal of Medical Ethics, and also lectures in various countries.
