Genri Veronika
Veronica Henry is a contemporary British writer, screenwriter, and journalist.
Veronica was educated in both the United Kingdom and the United States. She studied at the Royal School for Daughters of Officers of the Army, but was later expelled and entered the University of Bristol to study classics.
Her first job in the media was at the BBC, where she worked on The Archers project (a British radio soap opera). She also wrote several episodes for this radio show. After that, she worked at Central Television as a script editor on the series "Crossroads" and "Boon." In 1990, she left her job due to the birth of her first child, but soon returned and became a screenwriter for British television, where she wrote scripts for popular British television series.
In 2000, she turned to the romance genre in her writing, and in 2002 her first book, "Honeycote," was published by Penguin Books. In 2006, her novel "An Eligible Bachelor" was nominated for the Romantic Novel of the Year Award by the Romantic Novelists' Association. In 2010, her novel "Marriage and Other Games" entered the top 20 of the best books in the UK. "A Night on the Orient Express" was nominated for the award in 2014 and won it on March 17, 2014.
Veronica is married to Peter Henry, and they lived for 20 years on the outskirts of Birmingham. They now live on the coast in North Devon (southwest Britain) with their three sons.
