Grigoriy Arosev
Born in Moscow in 1979. His father was named Leonid (died in 1983), his mother Natalia.
He studied at schools No. 22, No. 1140, and No. 1134.
In 1997 he entered GITIS (then RATI), in the theater studies department.
Before and during his studies, he worked as a CD salesman, street musician (guitar), loader, courier, tourism manager, and schoolteacher. After graduating, he worked for another couple of years in tourism, as well as at the autonomous nonprofit organization Internews, the television channel Kultura (Russia K; he was chief editor of the film broadcasting department), and the ITAR-TASS news agency (where he worked as a journalist and editor).
In 2013 he moved to Germany. Since then he has lived in Berlin. He worked for Deutsche Welle, and now works for the newspaper Redaktsiya Germaniya and for the radio station Voice of Berlin. Alongside all this, he writes fiction and journalistic texts. Together with friends, in 2015 he founded the paper literary magazine Berlin.Berega.
On November 7, 2020, his son Oscar was born.
