Igor Sukhikh
Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor at the Department of History of Russian Literature, Faculty of Philology and Arts, St. Petersburg State University; member of the Union of Writers of St. Petersburg. Member of the editorial boards of Biblioteka poeta (“Poet’s Library”), the journal Neva, the newspaper Literatura (“Literature”), and the Prose School series (Art publishing house). At St. Petersburg State University, teaches the following courses: * “History of Russian Literary Criticism” * special courses on Chekhov, Zoshchenko, and S. Dovlatov * “Practical Poetics” * “Russian Literary Utopia” * special seminar “Prose of the Twentieth Century” Worked as a visiting professor at universities in Groningen (the Netherlands), Helsinki (Finland), Plovdiv (Bulgaria), and Cheonan (Republic of Korea). Took part in many scholarly conferences in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, and South Korea.
