Ingoldzbi Pat
Pat Ingoldsby is an Irish poet, playwright, screenwriter, and former television personality, born in 1942 in Malahide, a northern suburb of Dublin. In the 1980s, he hosted a variety of children's programs on RTÉ — Pat's Hat, Pat's Chat, and Pat's Pals — wrote plays for the stage and radio productions, and composed short prose pieces. For the past twenty-five years or so, Pat has been occupied solely with writing poetry, publishing his poetry collections, and until relatively recently selling them on the streets of Dublin — usually on Westmoreland Street or College Green — or on the pier in Howth. Pat has more than twenty poetry collections.
