Kamill Akhmetov

Kamill Akhmetov is a journalist, writer, screenwriter, and lecturer at the Moscow Film School and the Media Department of the Higher School of Economics, author of books on cinema — 125 Years of Screenwriting: From the Lumière Brothers to the Nolan Brothers (2021) and Cinema as a Universal Language: Lectures on Film (2019) — and on television — V.I.D. at Work: How to Turn Talent into Capital (2017, coauthored with Alexander Lyubimov). He is a two-time laureate of the Russian Freelance Award (“Golden Spear”). He has also written a number of popular books for personal computer users and the novellas Fear of Heights and Presumption of Death.
