Khanna Kent
Hannah Kent is an Australian writer.
She was born in 1985 in Adelaide, South Australia. She graduated from Heathfield High School.
She lives in Melbourne and works as the publishing director of the Australian literary magazine Kill Your Darlings. In 2010, she co-founded this magazine.
In 2011, she received the Australian Unpublished Manuscript Award for her novel Burial Rites, based on a true story. The writer’s first novel has been translated into thirty languages, and her second into ten.
She is currently completing her dissertation at Flinders University.
