Khezer Morris

Heather Morris was born in New Zealand and currently lives in Australia. For several years, while working at a large public hospital in Melbourne, she studied and wrote screenplays. In 2003, Heather was introduced to an elderly gentleman who told a story worth telling. The day she met Lale Sokolov changed the lives of both of them. Their friendship grew stronger, and Lale entrusted Heather with the most intimate details of his life in Auschwitz. Morris originally wrote Lale’s story as a screenplay and then adapted it into her debut novel, The Tattooist of Auschwitz.
