Kristin Kharmel
Kristin Harmel is an American writer, born on May 4, 1979, in a small town near Boston. At the age of 16, Kristin began working for a local newspaper, where she wrote a sports column. In 2001, she graduated with honors from the College of Journalism and Communications at Florida State University, and since then Kristin Harmel has been a journalist for the famous PEOPLE. She also writes for Men’s Health, Glamour, Who, and others. Kristin Harmel writes in the chick-lit genre, and many recognize her witty style with a good dose of humor, which makes her books read so easily and effortlessly. After the successful U.S. release of her debut novel, How to Sleep with a Movie Star, Kristin has been working on two subsequent books, The Blonde Theory and Pretty Life. In addition to her writing, Kristin regularly appears on the TV program The Daily Buzz, where she reviews new chick-lit titles. She also travels regularly across all continents and interviews celebrities for PEOPLE magazine. Kristin currently lives in Orlando, Florida. The novel How to Sleep with a Movie Star was published in Russian by Eksmo in March 2007. And in November 2007, the super-hit The Blonde Theory appeared.
