Krittenden Rodzher
Roger Crittenden is an editor and teacher.
In 1960, he worked as a film editor in television, mainly at the BBC. He edited several episodes of the legendary series by British writer and art historian Kenneth Clark, Civilisation (1969). He also edited several films by Ken Russell, including Song of a Summer (1968).
At the end of 1960, he received a special award for outstanding skill in film editing. In 1971, Crittenden became one of the founders of the National Film and Television School in the United Kingdom, where he established the Editing Department and later became deputy director, head of the master's program, and director of training.
In 2014, he became the first recipient of the CILECT award (the International Association of Film and Television Schools) for Best Teacher.
