Lars Fiske

Lars Fiske (b. 1966) is a Norwegian comics artist, illustrator, and author of children’s books. At the age of fifteen, he made his debut in the humor magazine KOnK and received the Norwegian Ministry of Culture’s prize for the cartoon “Execution.” He studied graphic design and illustration at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and at the Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. Fiske writes comics and children’s books, collaborates with the leading newspapers of Norway and Sweden, and designs public spaces. The graphic biography J. Gros brought Fiske one of Norway’s most prestigious comics awards, the Årets tegneserie prize (2017). (c)
