Lindsi K. Gibson
Lindsay Carter Gibson is a clinical psychologist with more than 36 years of experience. After earning two degrees in clinical psychology—a master’s degree from Central Michigan University and a Doctor of Psychology degree from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology—she became a licensed clinical psychologist. She has worked as an adjunct professor of psychology at the College of William and Mary and at Old Dominion University. She maintains a private practice, specializing in individual psychotherapy for adult children of emotionally immature parents. She is the author of several books and a monthly column on happiness and well-being for Tidewater Women magazine, which she has written since 2000. She lives and practices in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
