Liptrot Emi

Amy Liptrot is a British author and journalist. She has written for the Guardian, the Observer, and other publications. The first parts of her debut book, The Outrun, were published on the nature blog Caught by the River. For her literary debut, Amy Liptrot received the Wainwright Prize for Best Nature Writing in 2016 and the British PEN Club’s award for best autobiography (the PEN Ackerley Prize) in 2017. In 2022, she published a new book, The Instant, a sequel to The Outrun. Amy currently lives in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire.
