Luidzhi Ballerini

Luigi Ballerini (Ital. Luigi Ballerini) is an Italian writer. He lives in Milan, where he works as a psychoanalytic physician. For many years he has dealt with issues concerning children and adolescents, meeting with parents, children, and teachers in his professional studio, as well as in schools and cultural centers, and he directs a children’s creative writing school. He publishes fiction for children and popular science literature for adults, and also writes scripts for animated films and series. In 2014 he received the Andersen Prize for the book Signorina Coriandolo, and in 2016 the Bancarellino Prize for Io sono zero, as well as the “Fenice Europa – Best Italian Novel in the World” award for the book Hannah never closes her eyes
