Margalit Foks
Margalit Fox is an American writer.
Margalit was born in the town of Glen Cove, New York. She studied at Barnard College and then at Stony Brook University. In 1983, she earned a master’s degree.
She worked in book and magazine publishing and wrote articles for The New York Times, New York Newsday, Variety, and others. These were mainly articles about language and culture. At one time, she was an editor at The New York Times Book Review. At present, she is a regular contributor to The New York Times. Her work at The New York Times has repeatedly received attention and high praise.
