Mar'yana Prokhasko

Maryana Prokhasko (born 1976, Uzhhorod) is a Ukrainian illustrator and writer, the author of the well-known “mole” trilogy of children’s books, created together with writer and journalist Taras Prokhasko. She is the founder of the authorial publishing project “Write Me a Book.”

She was born in the city of Uzhhorod in 1976. In childhood, she moved with her parents to Ivano-Frankivsk. In 1998, she graduated from the Department of English Philology at Precarpathian University. Since then, she has worked as a private English tutor for children of different ages and as a translator. In recent years, she has been pursuing illustration. Maryana Prokhasko is not a professional artist.
