Mikhail Raytman

Mikhail Anatolyevich Reitman is an IT specialist, author of books on computer-related topics, journalist, and editor of Russian editions of foreign books, including the well-known series of guides, the Official Training Course, which teach users how to work with Adobe Corporation software.

He became acquainted with computers in the early 1990s; his first machine was based on a 486DX processor and ran the Windows 3.1 operating system. As a hobby, he localized software into Russian (including the Windows operating system) and assembled and maintained computers until his knowledge became sufficient for writing his own books on working with computers.

He has extensive experience in using and configuring the Windows, OS X, Linux, Android, iOS, and Windows Phone operating systems, as well as various software. He is the author and translator of numerous books and articles on software.
