Nataliya Volkova

Natalia Gennadyevna Volkova is a children's writer and poet.

She graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical University, after which she taught English at her alma mater for ten years. She now works at a developmental center, where she teaches children and teenagers aged 4 to 16. She took part in the 6th and 7th seminars for young Russian writers who write for children (Staraya Russa, 2009; Melikhovo, 2010), the 9th forum for young writers under the direction of V. M. Voskoboynikov and E. N. Uspensky (Lipki, 2009), and the festival "Young Writers Around Detgiz" (November 2009, poetry seminar led by M. D. Yasnov).

Natalia Gennadyevna also has two sons.
