Nina Dashevskaya
Nina Dashevskaya is a Russian writer and musician.
Nina Sergeyevna was born on May 23, 1979, in Tver. The writer says that her parents are from Odessa, and her grandmother is from Georgia, so she feels a family connection with both countries. At the age of six, the girl began to play the violin, and later graduated from a music college and the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory. Nina played the violin in Natalya Sats’s music theater and traveled extensively across the country with concerts, and now she tours widely as a writer, holding meetings with readers, both children and adults.
She debuted as a children’s writer in 2009, when her fairy tale was published by the magazine Kukumber. Nina Dashevskaya’s first book, Seven Short Gnomes, was published in 2011.
