Olga Posukh

Olga Posukh is a biologist, illustrator, and comic book author.

Olga defended her candidate’s dissertation in genetics and works in Akademgorodok in Novosibirsk. She has been drawing comics and illustrations for leading scientific journals around the world for several years. In 2017, she won the comic-story competition of the Boomfest festival. And in 2018, she won the book illustration competition “The Book Inside” with a book about tardigrades. Olga has also been running the “Scientific Animation Laboratory” with colleagues for three years, where children, under the guidance of scientists, make animated films on various scientific topics.
