Olivia Laing

Olivia Laing is an English writer, critic, and essayist. She regularly publishes in The Guardian, The Observer, New Statesman, Frieze, and The New York Times. A member of the Yaddo and MacDowell artist communities, she spent 2014 as the Eccles writer in residence at the British Library. Her books have been shortlisted for the Royal Society of Literature's Ondaatje Prize, the Dolman Travel Book of the Year, and the Costa Biography Award.
