Rebekka Sklut

Journalist, award-winning author of science articles published in The New York Times, O, The Oprah Magazine, Columbia Journalism Review, and other publications. Co-editor of The Best American Science Writing 2011, she has worked as a correspondent for National Public Radio’s RadioLab and for the PBS-NOVA Science NOW science television program. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and a Master of Fine Arts in creative nonfiction. Winner of several awards. She teaches creative nonfiction at the University of Memphis. The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks is her first book.
