Robert Garaev
Robert Garaev is a journalist, musician, DJ, and tour guide at the Jewish Museum in Moscow.
In 1989, his life hardly seemed to point toward such a future: Garaev was 15, and he belonged to the Kazan youth gang “Nizy.” This is a common chapter in the biographies of many Kazan residents who grew up in the 1980s.
