Sharlotta Kotton
Charlotte Cotton is an independent curator and writes about photography.
She studied art history at the University of Sussex in Brighton. She has held positions including Wallis Annenberg Department Head of Photography at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Head of Programming at The Photographers’ Gallery in London, and Creative Director at the National Media Museum in the UK. In 2005, she moved to the United States and served as a visiting professor at Yale University and as a visiting critic at colleges. She is currently a resident curator at the California Museum of Photography in Riverside, California.
