Tatyana Litvinova
A practicing psychologist with 19 years of experience, a psychology lecturer, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences (Philosophy of Culture), and translator of books on psychology and psychotherapy. In 1987, she graduated from Pyatigorsk State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages. In 2002, she graduated from the South Russian Humanities Institute with a degree in psychology. Until 1999, she worked as a schoolteacher. She then taught at universities, first English, and after obtaining a psychology degree, taught courses including “Psychological Counseling,” “Basics of Psychotherapy,” “Family Psychology and Family Counseling,” and others. She translated from English the following books: Sh. Cormier and G. Hackney, Strategies and Interventions for Counseling (2016); D. Scharff and J. Scharff, Object Relations Family Therapy (2018); A. Calvo, Give Your Life a Boost (2019); W. Worden, Grief Counseling and Therapy (2020); and others. At present, Tatyana Litvinova is engaged in private psychological practice, paying particular attention to the influence of a client’s personal and family past. She is one of the founders and the head of the Stavropol Regional Public Organization for Practical Psychology and Continuing Professional Education “Association of Psychologists,” where she also teaches practical psychology.
