Varvara Stepanova
Varvara Fyodorovna Stepanova (22 October [3 November] 1894, Kovno — 20 May 1958, Moscow) was a Soviet avant-garde artist, a representative of Constructivism, a designer, and a poet, and the wife and collaborator of Aleksandr Rodchenko. She also worked and exhibited under the pseudonym Varst. Daughter: Varvara; grandson: Aleksandr Lavrentyev.
