Viktor Dashkevich
Viktor Dashkevich is the pseudonym of a Russian science fiction writer. He previously published under the pseudonyms Viktor Flammer and Nat Flammer. He does not disclose his real identity.
He was born on July 17, 1978, and grew up in Vladivostok. His passion for words began in early childhood, and he started writing poetry and short stories while still in school. By the age of 16, he was already demonstrating his literary talent, having won a regional literary competition. After that, he went to the Ocean Pioneer Camp, where he was invited to join the youth branch of the Union of Writers, which had just been opened at the camp.
After finishing school, he studied psychology at Far Eastern State University, but his main interest had always been history. He was fascinated by the history of the Russo-Japanese War, and later began studying Japanese culture, history, and language. In the mid-2000s, Viktor became interested in the history of the Civil War in Siberia and the Russian Far East, and that was when the idea for the detective wizard book series came to him.
At present, the author lives in St. Petersburg, but often returns to Vladivostok.
