Vladimir Buldakov
Vladimir Prokhorovich Buldakov is a writer, political scientist, and Doctor of Historical Sciences. He is the Secretary General of the International Commission on the History of the October Revolution (1995) and a chief research fellow at the Institute of History of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Vladimir Buldakov graduated from Moscow State University. In 1976, he defended his candidate’s dissertation on the topic “Legal Marxism” and the Evolution of Bourgeois-Liberal Ideology in Russia.” In 1998, he defended his doctoral dissertation, “The October Revolution: A Sociocultural Dimension” (1998).
