Yukhannison Karin
Karin Johannisson has been a Swedish professor of the History of Science and Ideas at Uppsala University since 1996. Johannisson has been a member of the Gastronomic Academy since 2003, as well as the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Royal Society of Sciences in Uppsala.
Johannisson, who specializes in medical history, studied the history of ideas under Sten Lindroth and Ronny Ambjörnsson at the University of Gothenburg and came to Uppsala University in 1969.
