Yure Zheneveva

Geneviève Huriet is a French writer, widely known as the author of children’s tales about a family of rabbits.

Once, Madame Huriet lived in Paris with her husband and four children, working as a librarian and periodically traveling around the world. When the children grew up and Geneviève became a grandmother, while spending time with her grandchildren, she began telling them her own fairy tales. These later developed into the famous stories of the rabbit family.

Geneviève Huriet’s books were published in Russia in the “Once Upon a Time There Were Rabbits” series by the Machaon publishing house.
