Zhaume Kabre
Jaume Cabré is a Catalan (Spanish) philologist, novelist, and screenwriter.
He graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Barcelona, teaches at the University of Lleida, and is a member of the Philological Society of the Autonomous University of Catalonia.
For many years, Cabré combined his writing career with teaching. He also worked in television and wrote film scripts.
His books have been translated into many languages, including German, French, Italian, Polish, Albanian, Norwegian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Portuguese, and Turkish.
