Adib Khorram is a writer, graphic designer, and tea lover. He was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. In high school, he was interested in theater, then studied scenic arts with a focus on lighting design at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and later attended film school in Vancouver, British Columbia for one year. After that, the future writer returned to Kansas City and has worked in the event industry ever since. His first novel, Darius the Great Is Not Okay, was published in August 2018 by Dial Books for Young Readers under the Penguin Random House imprint. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, skating, food, wine, video games, board games, and Kansas City barbecue.
