Poet Mikhail Yasnov is one of the leading contemporary children's poets, the curator of numerous poetry and literary festivals, the compiler of anthologies of contemporary children's poetry, and the mentor and patron of many wonderful young poets. Readers are primarily familiar with his poems for young children. But his book 'The Icicle Collector,' previously published by Samokat in 2009, contains poems for maturing children and teenagers.
