The Moomins had moved before, and Moominpappa was a true traveler. And now, toward the end of summer, Moominpappa had decided that the sedate life in Moominvalley wasn't for his restless soul. His calling was to live on an island with a lighthouse, amidst the raging sea, and guide ships. The family set out. At first glance, the lighthouse seemed a rather dull and inviting place. However, this was only at first glance. After all, Moominmamma could make even the barren cliff feel cozy, and the family would have plenty of secrets, dangers, and raging seas to keep them going for a long time!
