'Another Life' is the story of Nick and Anna. He is twenty-two, she is nineteen. They work part-time at a movie theater during the summer, trying to keep their relationship a secret from colleagues and friends, talking about poetry and music, and sharing their dreams for the future. Anna grew up in a religious community whose strict rules forbid her from dating 'outsiders.' When forced to choose between love and family, Anna breaks up with Nick. He is confused and makes no attempt to keep her. Almost two decades later, Nick and Anna's paths cross again, and they realize that their hearts still long for each other. But the intervening years have erected many obstacles on the path to their happiness. Will Nick and Anna be able to overcome them, or will they leave their past behind and go their separate ways?
