Modern society is structured in such a way that even one in the field is a warrior, yet people still try to stick together. In 'Accomplices,' we've collected bold stories about Berlin squatters and Moscow stand-up comedians, about residents of a farm in southern Russia and the wards of a Kyrgyz shelter for girls, about teenagers, friends, and young mothers. They all try to find a way to speak up and be heard, to influence something, to change the world around them, or, conversely, to hide and isolate themselves. The story collection 'Accomplices' is a joint project of Samokat Publishing House and the Glagol Prose School.
